Pegasus-III

The Pegasus-III is a spherical tokamak confinement experiment that has been in development since 1994. Its extremely low aspect ratio enables unique features to other experiments.
Part of the Pegasus program’s mission is to advance sustainment techniques for fusion energy systems. The Pegasus research team spans faculty, scientists, engineers, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Students have been actively involved in the design, construction, and operation of Pegasus since its inception.
